CrossFit Coach (Activate)
Reporting to:
Senior Coach
Remuneration:
€28,000 - €33,000
Purpose of role:
Expert delivery of group training (various types; e.g: CrossFit, Hyrox) to lead, encourage and motivate clients through sessions. Demonstrate movement quality, ensure safety and accountability for each client. Expand the company's client count through lead acquisition and nurture. Retain clients through the continued delivery of extremely high level service.
Plan, execute and communicate client sessions clearly.
Uphold facility standards from the front.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and grow Activate’s Mission and Vision through consistent application of our company Values
Demonstrate knowledge of the company brand in accordance with company standards
Arrive to gym prepared with a thorough understanding of the workout for the day
Maintain required number of coaching hours weekly and provide cover when required
Lead by example in retention of gym members
Support Facility Lead to ensure staffing at facility is appropriately allocated
Implement each new training phase as outlined by Facility Lead
Understand the member journey to help increase retention
Work with CSM to highlight key member issues, bright spots etc. in a timely manner
Ensure the gym is setup, maintained and cleaned to a consistently high standard
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, appearance and organisation of the facility and equipment
Ensure the coaching team are always prepared and deliver an excellent service at all times and liaise with Facility Lead when this is not met.
Deliver introduction, verbal cues, and demonstrate each exercise with confidence, providing modifications/regressions or progressions as needed.
Ensure members are receiving attention by name where possible in class and performing exercises safely, always using the correct form while keeping them motivated and encouraged.
Implement social media marketing strategies and contribute to social media content.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, and professionalism to both clients, colleagues, and internal & external business partners.
Develop a high-energy culture through challenges, fun in-house events and incentive-based motivation.
Assist with the running of challenges, special projects, events, and promotions.
Meet or exceed required gym performance metrics (KPIs).
Ensure appropriate communication of your own administrative actions at all times
Comply and adhere to Activate’s business policies and standards.
Comply and adhere to Ludus Magnus business policies and standards.
Attend and assist at organised events, whether community, social, or fitness-related.
Comfortable giving sweaty high fives!

Requirements
Fitness certification through a nationally recognised organisation (EQF 3 and above).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the fitness industry
CrossFit Level 1
CPR/AED First Aid Certification.
